RISMEDIA, May 13, 2010—Point2 Technologies (“Point2”) has announced a technology and marketing agreement with WolfNet Technologies (“WolfNet”), a leading IDX (Internet Data Exchange) search solution provider, which will enable Point2 Agent (www.Point2Agent.com) platform users with all major MLSs and Associations currently working with WolfNet, across the United States, to seamlessly embed the popular solution within their websites conveniently through their Point2 dashboard, and at special rates exclusive to Point2 customers, the company stated.
According to the company, the integrated solution is designed to provide Point2 members with more convenient, less expensive access to a world class IDX solution, with leads generated from all listings displayed on the agent’s site streamed directly into their Point2 system for management through the platform’s second to none predictive marketing tools and analytics, for optimal conversion.
IDX is today a must for any real estate professional, whether they have listings or not.
Over 75 percent of Point2’s customers currently have some sort of an IDX solution.
“Point2 Agent has continued to experience growth due to our commitment to innovation and to building solutions that help our members maximize their online exposure and revenue potential,” said Saul Klein, Chief Executive Officer, Point2 Technologies. “Building WolfNet’s IDX into Point2 Agent adds another important component to our customers’ arsenal of lead generation tools, enhances their efficiency by eliminating the need to work with multiple vendors and platforms, and saves them money at the same time.”
“Point2 has one of the most powerful, flexible, and affordable agent website/marketing solutions on the market and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with such a visionary company,” said Joel MacIntosh, Chief Executive Officer, WolfNet Technologies. “There is no question that Point2 customers will gain another competitive advantage while saving time and money by leveraging Point2’s platform in conjunction with WolfNet IDX. We’re also confident that Point2 customers will enjoy the ease of implementation and the fact that all leads generated on their IDX solutions will flow seamlessly into Point2’s killer lead management system.”
The new Point2 IDX solution will be available to Point2 members during the third quarter of 2010.
IDX, also referred to as Broker Reciprocity, enables real estate professionals to expand local listings inventory available to consumers on their websites, to optimize the home search experience and maximize leads.
The technology is a popular means for enhancing cooperation between real estate professionals to facilitate the purchase and sale of real estate property. It is applied by giving participants within a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organization the ability to display each others’ property listings on their Internet websites, with full control over which listings are displayed.
