RISMEDIA, May 19, 2010—In response to the end of The Federal Tax Credit on April 30, 2010 and to capitalize on the strong buyer market, Buffalo-based HUNT Real Estate ERA in collaboration with HUNT Mortgage is announcing HUNT Buyer Stimulus – a new sales promotion that will run from now through the end of August 2010.
Through HUNT Buyer Stimulus, all participating HUNT ERA sellers will be giving back to buyers at closing a credit in the amount of 6% of the accepted offer price, up to $8,000. To be eligible for this credit, buyers must sign a purchase contract by no later than August 31, 2010. The HUNT Buyer Stimulus incentive is available to more buyers than the Federal Tax Credit in that there are no income limits or property eligibility restrictions. The final terms of the real estate transaction will be subject to lending restrictions.
“The residential home market has seen a surge in sales as a result of the Federal Tax Credit,” said Nikki E. Alieva, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at HUNT Real Estate Corp. “According to our buyers, it played a large part in their decision to purchase a new home. There are still plenty of buyers out there who missed the opportunity to cash in on the Federal Tax Credit and we believe that this sales promotion is a way to capture those buyers,” she added.
As an additional incentive for sellers to participate in the HUNT Buyer Stimulus, HUNT is attracting buyers to take advantage of this limited time offer by giving any buyer who visits the Open House of a participating property a chance to enter a drawing to win a SONY Flat Panel TV sponsored by Stereo Advantage, a vendor of the Realty Club concierge service managed by HUNT.
