RISMEDIA, June 4, 2010—Point2 Technologies Inc. announced that its has been named as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People for 2010 by the editors of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project.
According to the company, Point2 was among 50 companies from across the country to be honored with this year’s Top Employers for Young People designation. The awards presentation took place at a special reception held by Mediacorp, corporate sponsors KPMG LLP, and The Globe and Mail, at the KPMG executive offices at Bay Adelaide Centre, in Toronto.
More than 2,600 companies nationwide, including the winners of Canada’s Top 100 Employers national competition for 2010, began the application process for this year’s award. Winners were selected following an extensive review process that examined the various organizations’ policies and programs aimed in particular at young people.
Published annually since 2001, the Top Employers for Young People competition highlights Canadian companies that lead the nation in offering exceptional workplaces and human resources programs of interest to young people starting their careers, and in attracting and retaining younger employees to their organizations.

In October, with the Saskatchewan Top 10 Employers Award for 2010, also under Canada’s Top 100 Employers Program, and later that month, with the Achievement In Business Excellence (ABEX) Award, presented by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.
