RISMEDIA, October 5, 2010—Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services, a Prudential Financial, Inc. company, announced the combination of Century 21 Gross & Jansen, Realtors and Prudential New Jersey Properties Highlands Realty. The combined company, Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty, operates five offices with more than 120 sales professionals and staff members serving Sussex County and surrounding areas.
According to a release, the company’s leadership team includes President Kevin Colman and Broker/Owner Hans Gross from Century 21 Gross & Jansen, Realtors and Principals Jim Lombardo and Mike Semeraro from Prudential New Jersey Properties Highlands Realty. Their goal is to create and grow Sussex County’s premier real estate brokerage.
“Our growth strategy in the current times included affiliating with a brand known for strength, stability and quality,” Colman explained. “Prudential Real Estate offers all of that, plus access to powerful marketing support, real estate training and innovative tools.”
Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty serves all segments of residential real estate, from entry-level and move-up markets to resort and luxury homes. The company also provides complete commercial and relocation services, and offers an extensive referral network within Prudential Real Estate.
Said Gross: “We are excited to join forces with Prudential New Jersey Properties Highlands Realty and the Prudential brand. Prudential Real Estate Network’s suite of online resources and proprietary lead-generation tools will help our agents become more efficient and effective for their customers.”
Gross added that Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty agents will enhance their skills using Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services’ LearnCenter education portal, which provides professionals 24/7 access to a significant array of professional development opportunities and options. “The spirit of our growing company is based on continuous improvement,” Gross continued. “To be the best for Sussex County consumers, we must constantly enhance our skills and talent, and adapt with consumers’ shifting needs.”
This is the next in a series of transactions made to gain market share and establish the company as Sussex County’s premier real estate brokerage, Lombardo said. In early September, Century 21 Bill Semmons Realty joined the company with a well-established team serving Hamburg, N.J.
Prudential Gross & Jansen Highlands Realty wants to add more top professionals in the weeks and months ahead, said Lombardo. “We’re proud to announce a growth story when others in our market may be pulling back,” Lombardo explained. “We are assembling a powerful brokerage based on knowledge, experience and an unyielding focus on customer care.”
Earl Lee, president of Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services, applauded the merger. “We are thrilled to broaden the Prudential brand in this key market,” Lee said. “These two fine organizations share similar standards and values, and Sussex County real estate consumers will benefit.”
