RISMEDIA, December 6, 2010—Within the first six months since the initial launch of RISMedia’s Real Estate Information Network® (RREIN), Broker members are already benefiting from the variety of publicity opportunities RREIN provides. In addition to the Network’s strong presence at national industry events, RREIN brokers are also garnering publicity regarding their membership in this esteemed Network of industry leaders via newspaper spots, press releases, blog postings and tweets. Pronounced ‘rain’—the network delivers an arsenal of tools and services designed to empower members with timely, relevant information for developing their agent force as well as engaging their consumer base.

A recent example of RREIN’s increasing media coverage included a special-section lead story in the The Times-Union in Jacksonville, Fla. on Prudential Network Realty, one of the Network’s charter members. “Prudential Network Realty Joins Exclusive Network (,” was the headline touting the Jacksonville-based RREIN member, a real estate firm covering Northeast Florida with more than 325 agents, seven branch offices (soon to be eight) and multiple new development site offices, a corporate relocation division, a title company, and a mortgage company.

“With the array of information outlets available, consumers today need a trusted real estate company they can turn to for relevant real estate news and services,” Christy Budnick, Prudential Network Realty’s (PNR) executive vice president of residential real estate, was quoted as saying in the Nov. 13 article. “As our RREIN membership suggests, [our] experienced, professional agents are committed to providing timely information to consumers and expert real estate services for buyers and sellers.”

The article highlighted that one of PNR’s top priorities is to make sure buyers and sellers have the information they need to make the best real estate decisions. According to the article, “Membership in RREIN is formal recognition that Prudential Network Realty has achieved what many real estate firms across North America desire—to be known as highly credible sources of real estate information and for providing a level of service to consumers that cannot be matched.”

Company Founder, President and CEO Linda H. Sherrer, added, “The information resources from RREIN are unsurpassed and provide a valuable service to consumers and our sales professionals. We are proud to be a member of this esteemed network and to have access to vital information to better serve consumers in today’s real estate environment.”

Sherrer unveiled her company’s affiliation with RREIN during a recent PNR general sales meeting, at which RISMedia Chief Marketing Officer Allan Dalton was on hand as a guest keynote speaker and to support PNR’s rollout of the program. Over the last few weeks, other RREIN members across the country have benefitted by having Dalton speak to their agent base about how to maximize RREIN as well as how to increase profits and build business overall.

Also serving as Co-founder and President of RISMedia’s Top 5 in Real Estate Network®, Dalton was formerly CEO of Ranked by NAR’s REALTOR Magazine in 2006 as one of the industry’s “25 Most Influential Thought Leaders,” Dalton has been a keynote speaker at numerous industry events throughout North America and Europe. With more than 30 years of leadership experience, Dalton also is the former president and co-owner for more than 20 years of a 32-office real estate brokerage firm.

Most recently at the NAR annual convention in New Orleans, Dalton presented the “RREIN Real Estate Recruiting (Selection) and Retention (Development) Symposium” to an invitation-only audience of RREIN members and select brokers.

And now as organizations everywhere prepare their sales teams for what promises to be a better 2011, RREIN members are increasingly taking advantage of their membership privileges by turbo-charging their gatherings with insights from Dalton’s high-powered sessions like “Potential Questions for Company Management Meetings to Discuss Human Resources Needs,” “Why Some Managers Fail,” and “A Recruiting Reversal of Fortune.”

Dalton recently keynoted a companywide meeting for RREIN Member Calcagni Associates, a brokerage in New Haven, Conn.

“After years of knowing Allan Dalton as the head of and a speaker around the country, today I finally got to meet him in person at a Calcagni Associates Regional Office function at the Farms Country Club in Wallingford,” Chris Canfield, ABR, CRS, e-PRO, GREEN, SRES, of Calcagni Associates in Cheshire, CT, wrote in his ActiveRain blog. “I will be reading his book, Leveraging Your Links, over the next few days, and I look forward to putting his ideas to practice in my business.”

How RREIN Members Are Showcasing Network Offerings
Equally impressive as the media coverage RREIN members are receiving is how they are showcasing the robust content and products the program offers on their websites. Prudential Preferred Realty in the Pittsburgh, PA area announced this week to national media its “GPS-Enabled Real Estate Search App,” which allows users to get up-to-date information quickly about all homes for sale in the area. This particular app is an upgrade to what’s offered in the basic RREIN mobile platform, powered by RREIN’s mobile partner, Mobile Real Estate ID.

With this application, consumers will never have to wonder about the list price of houses they pass – they can get the answer with one click on their smartphone. They simply launch the Prudential Preferred Realty app on their iPhone, Blackberry or Droid and click “GPS Search.” Instantly they will see a list of the 10 homes for sale nearest them.

“Click on the address of any home on the list and you will see the list price, all interior photos and number of bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s that easy.” said Ron Croushore, CEO of Prudential Preferred Realty.

The company is promoting the RREIN upgrade via its “Mobile Apps” button on its website,, just above the RREIN Resource Center for daily real estate news, videos and more.
