RISMEDIA, January 26, 2011—The Greenwich Association of REALTORS® (GAR) announced that Top 5 in Real Estate member Danielle Claroni of New England Land, LLC is GAR’s REALTOR® of the Year 2010.

Claroni, of Greenwich, C.T., served as chairperson of the Multiple Listing Service Committee and the Equal Housing Opportunity Committee during 2010. Claroni is a strong contributor to the education and mentoring of real estate professionals and those in the Greenwich community. She has been licensed for 14 years and currently serves as a real estate broker for New England Land Company. Claroni’s colleagues credit her for always being there for them and for her dedication to continual learning and sharing to help them grow their businesses.

Claroni was presented the REALTOR® of the Year award by Linda Hodge, a former Director of the Board of GAR and 2003’s REALTOR® of the Year. Hodge and Claroni worked together during their tenures on GAR’s Multiple Listing Service Committee.

The REALTOR® of the Year Award is one of the highest honors presented to a member and is based upon leadership and contributions made to the Greenwich Association of REALTORS®, the Connecticut Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS®, and the Greenwich community.

“Danielle is most deserving of this recognition,” said GAR President Doug Stevens. “She is tireless in her resolve to elevate the status of the real estate profession. All of our members owe Danielle a huge debt of gratitude for her intelligent, competent approach to making the GAR the best professional association it can be. Her drive, enthusiasm, and dedication are evident and I am very pleased that her colleagues have selected her to be the recipient of this distinguished award.”
