RISMEDIA, March 30, 2011—RISMedia, the leader in real estate information systems, is excited to announce the nationwide release of “The Power of Information,” a new video exclusively produced and directed by the real estate information leader that showcases months of the company’s independent research on the impact of social media in real estate. Circulation of the video, along with a turnkey implementation package, went viral to brokers, agents and their consumers last week following a pre-release to members of RISMedia’s exclusive Real Estate Information Network® (RREIN) on March 17.

More than 50 major brokerages throughout the United States representing over 50,000 agents, were given their own, custom-branded version of the “The Power of Information” during a RREIN Network webinar hosted by RISMedia President & CEO John Featherston, and have since been using the video to help differentiate their company as an information leader in today’s challenging real estate climate.

Within three days of the video’s release to RREIN members, Prudential Network Realty in Jacksonville, Fla. had already created a further-customized version of the video, which they released on YouTube March 21.

“’The Power of Information’ is an incredible, four-minute video that shows the evolution and impact of social media on our ever-changing industry as well as our global community,” said Featherston. “This powerful video will make your company stand apart from your competition by showcasing you as the information leader in your market.”

How can you maximize this video and what are the benefits to you?

Featherston encourages brokers to share this video with their sales associates and sales associates to share it with their spheres of influence. According to Featherston, not only are you reminding your clients and your sales associates of your company’s commitment to remain on the cutting edge of the social media revolution, but if only 200 sales associates sent the video to 125 contacts each, then a minimum of 25,000 prospective buyers and sellers would be further exposed to your overall commitment to providing the best services using today’s most cutting-edge, viral media marketing tools. “Imagine further if only 1,000 of those prospective buyers (only 4 percent) forwarded this video to 20 friends — another 20,000 impressions,” he added.
