How do you acquire a Prosperity Mindset? Most people think it’s by having a lot of money.

But the truth is that you acquire a Prosperity Mindset first by releasing Scarcity Beliefs about money; which leads to successfully creating all the money you want. This article will share the Groundbreaking Secrets to Attracting Money by creating a Prosperity Mindset first.

You might be telling yourself consciously or subconsciously, “all this stuff about prosperity consciousness is fine, but I need to get more money and then I’ll feel more prosperous.” When we put the cause outside of ourselves, we are disempowered. There’s no way to snap your fingers and instantly acquire an abundance of money.

However, you can empower yourself to create a prosperity mindset and do it quickly and easily. With a prosperity mindset, you can then allow yourself to be a magnet for all the money, prosperity, success and all the ideal clients that you want. How would you know if your subconscious mind was filled with scarcity beliefs about money or abundance beliefs about money?

Here’s a short quiz that you can take to assess what’s really going on with you and money at a deeper level.

There are 10 questions which you can answer, yes or no. Keep track of your scores but remember whatever result you get can be changed with a simple change of your mindset.

1. Do you feel envious when you see someone driving an expensive car?
2. Do you compare yourself to your colleagues when they are making more money than you?
3. Do you feel uncomfortable with the idea of making more money than your parents?
4. Do you often tell yourself “I can’t afford it?”
5. When it comes to money and bills, do you complain a lot?
6. When you think about your current money situation, do you focus on your lack of money?
7. Is money hard for you to earn?
8. On a deep level, do you question whether you deserve an abundance of money?
9. Again on a deep level, do you have any anti-money beliefs such as “money is the root of all evil?”
10. Do you fear that if you have money people won’t like you?

Consider your answers to the above questions. If you answered mostly “yes,” then you are suffering from a scarcity mindset about money. When you discover that, please don’t judge yourself or put yourself down. The way you were conditioned is not your fault and you can change your conditioning.

Actually, it would be better to celebrate whatever score you got because when you bring your subconscious beliefs to the surface, you can change them. Each self-limiting belief about money that you discover brings you one step closer to having the prosperity you deserve, so the more the merrier. Keep letting those old self-limiting beliefs about money come to the surface, so that you can change them.

How do you close the gap so that you attract all the prosperity that you’ll ever need or want? In order to understand this, you really need to understand some basic ideas about prosperity.

1. You are responsible for the amount of money you have in your life. It is not due to the economy, the real estate market, or anybody else in your life.

This one can be the hardest one to swallow. Does this mean that you should “beat yourself up” because you’re experiencing a scarcity of money? Absolutely not!

You need to find a way to take responsibility for your financial situation, without blame. Beliefs about money caused your current financial situation and those beliefs are not your fault, they were instilled in you a long time ago.

How do you know if you have the hidden beliefs about money? Simply look around you. Do you have all the money you need and want? Do you have the house of your dreams? Are you driving the car you want to be driving? Are you taking the vacations you want to be taking? If you answered “no” to any of the above, then that is your evidence that you have hidden beliefs about money.

2. Your subconscious mind is your power source.

When I work with new clients, they often don’t understand at the beginning why they are stuck and can’t make the money they want. On a conscious level, they may be saying all the right things, like “I want to make a lot of money.” It’s likely that they’ve been telling themselves that for years. Have you been telling yourself for years that you want to make a lot of money, but it hasn’t happened yet?

What you’re probably not aware of is that even though you are consciously telling yourself the right things, your subconscious mind most likely has counter intention or self-limiting beliefs, such as “I don’t deserve an abundance of money,” or “having money is beyond my reach.” Again, I want to emphasize that these are subconscious beliefs. You are unaware of them.

Your conscious mind is only the tip of the iceberg, 1 percent of the equation, so no matter what you are saying about money consciously, it is being drowned out by your subconscious mind which is 99 percent of the equation.

With every client I have worked with, we spend some of our time specifically on this issue. That’s why it’s essential, if you want to be prosperous, to clear out all the “anti-money” beliefs stored in the subconscious mind—but you’re not aware of them. They are in your blind spot and it’s almost impossible to see into your blind spots on your own.

3. We live in a society that instills fear about money.

In today’s world, you are constantly being bombarded, not only with your old beliefs of the past but the current beliefs of the culture at large.

If you listen to the news, watch the news on television, pick up a magazine, or in any other way expose yourself to the media, you are exposing yourself to a mass consciousness that is currently committed to being in a state of fear.

If it were true that today’s economy was responsible for your wealth or lack of wealth, then why is it that in the Great Depression more millionaires were made than in any other time in our history?

Some people were in soup lines, some people were so negative that they were jumping out of buildings, and some saw great opportunities. Those that were not stuck in the mass consciousness of scarcity and lack were able to do great things. They saw a need and a creative way to fulfill that need, which resulted in them accruing great wealth. It is not the outer circumstances of your life that determine whether or not you’re going to be prosperous.

In part two we will cover some practical ways how you can develop your Prosperity Mindset.
