Prudential Georgia Realty, a real estate brokerage in Metro Atlanta, has announced that it has entered into a strategic relationship with OwnAmerica, a national web-based, resource and training organization for real estate investors and investment specialists. According to the company, the affiliation allows Prudential Georgia Realty to provide analysis tools, tutorials and a video series to clients during one of the biggest real estate investment booms in history.
Using the Investor Knowledge Center, real estate investors can learn how to best capitalize on the struggling housing market’s tidal wave of foreclosures, REO deals and quality real estate assets at rock-bottom prices and historically low financing. The Investor Knowledge Center is designed to accommodate both new real estate investors and seasoned investors.
According to the company, OwnAmerica has created a new certification for agents called the OwnAmerica Investment Certification Program (OICP). This certification and the associated tools provide training and resources for Prudential Georgia Realty agents that want to specialize in real estate investing. In recent years, Prudential Georgia Realty has invested in a significant set of information resources to allow their agents to have better and more accurate local data. This combination allows Prudential Georgia Realty agents to help their clients make the best decisions.
Prudential Georgia Realty also operates a large property management division and has a vast network of agents for leasing and tenant procurement. The company will be able to provide a full solution for investors who want to purchase properties, have them managed and find new tenants. This full service offering allows agents associated with Prudential Georgia Realty to provide a professional turn-key experience for investors with all levels of experience.
OwnAmerica and the Investor Knowledge Center were created by Greg Rand, a twenty-year real estate industry veteran and author of the book Crash Boom! to prevent investors from getting burned.
“We’ve seen too many people giving bad advice about ‘getting rich quick’ in real estate. Real estate is a long-term wealth building asset. We created OwnAmerica to show our clients how to do it right,” says Rand, CEO of OwnAmerica and host of WABC’s Rand on Real Estate.
