Point2 recently announced that four additional U.S. real estate Boards and Associations have rolled out its industry-leading listing syndication solution to streamline and optimize member listing advertising exposure and accuracy on consumer real estate portals and search engines.
According to the company, brokers and agents will be able to distribute listings to more than 60 third-party real estate syndication network partner websites associated with Point2 with just a single click, maximizing listing exposure to buyers with consistent, accurate and timely data.
Proprietary Point2 Listing Rights Managementā¢ (LRM) tools will provide users with control over where to distribute or withhold listings.
The company notes that their system incorporates a cascading control mechanism that allows the listing broker and agent to decide where, or where not, to syndicate their listings.
āTwo key drivers continue to fuel listing syndication. One is exposure to more buyers, since the top three real estate consumer sites garner only around 18% of the traffic; and two, to optimize data accuracy and quality online, through automation, with the MLS as the authoritative source,ā says Saul Klein, senior vice president for Point2.
āWith the MLS as the preferred source for listing data, and consumers starting to gain exposure and eventually seeking MLS Certifiedā¢ branded listings Point2 has begun to stream several months ago, we expect portals to accelerate their adoption of MLS feeds as their primary source for listings and scale back non-MLS sources that seem to contribute to erroneous and outdated listings.ā
