Fox & Roach/Trident LP has announced that Frances Martinez Myers was recently named one of top 10 women in the mortgage and housing industry by The Five Star Institute, a mortgage industry group.
Martinez Myers is a senior vice president for Fox & Roach/Trident, LP, the holding company of six home services, financial and relocation related companies. In this capacity she is responsible for the business development efforts of Prudential Fox & Roach REALTORS®. In addition, she is the president of Employee Transfer Corporation and ETCREO Management, respectively, an international and national corporate relocation services and REO asset management company. The Five Star Institute will present the honors at the 2011 MPact Conference and Expo in December in Dallas.
According to the company, Martinez Myers has been in the real estate and relocation industry for 36 years. She started her career in real estate brokerage and then later was involved in broker network management and in national and international business development. A past chairman for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Martinez Myers was also on the Board of Directors for the National Association of REALTORS® (2005-2007) and the 2006 Chair of the National Housing Advisory Council of Fannie Mae, and is a member of the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of Freddie Mac and the National Advisory Council for Bank of America (2005-2007).
In 2005, Hispanic Business named her one of the top 100 most influential Hispanics in the U.S. and The Philadelphia Business Journal named her a 2006 Woman of Distinction. Also in 2006, REALTOR® Magazine named her one of real estate’s 25 most influential thought leaders. She is a member of Worldwide ERC and is a recipient of their Meritorious and Distinguished Service Awards.
