CoreLogic (NYSE: CLGX), a leading provider of information, analytics and business services, recently announced it has signed a multiyear agreement to provide multiple listing service (MLS) solutions to Realcomp II Ltd., Michigan’s largest REALTOR®-owned MLS. Serving nearly 11,000 members from more than 2,100 real estate offices in southeastern Michigan, Realcomp selected the Matrix platform to power its new MLS system.
According to the company, Realcomp CEO Karen Kage listed usablility, performance and MLS customization as key factors in their decision-making process. “In our evaluation, no other system could match the sheer speed and flexibility of Matrix,” says Kage. “With a large organization like Realcomp, performance and scalability are major considerations. The system’s simple, device-agnostic interface was also extremely important because we want our members to be able to access the system wherever and however they want. We look forward to deploying Matrix as soon as possible.”
Realcomp is the fourth new Matrix customer since CoreLogic added Matrix to its suite of MLS solutions in September 2011.
“Clearly, the combination of Matrix and CoreLogic is very compelling,” says Seain Conver, vice president of MLS Products for CoreLogic. “Matrix represents cutting-edge MLS technology, and CoreLogic brings a depth of resources and property data to the platform that was previously unavailable to Matrix users. We are just beginning to see the fruits of this powerful union.”
“A prominent MLS like Realcomp choosing Matrix because of its flexibility, power and usability validates our approach to providing industry solutions,” says Ben Graboske, senior vice president of CoreLogic. ““We view the continued expansion of our MLS solutions and our talented team continues to build new innovations that will enable real estate professionals to continue to provide expert guidance to buyers and sellers for years to come.”
