The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® (NAR) REALTOR Benefits® Program has accelerated its offerings by partnering with Chrysler Group, LLC. This new partnership allows NAR members (and their family members) a $500 cash allowance on the purchase or lease of select 2012 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram models—economy cars to top-of-the-line sedans, vans, trucks and sport utility vehicles.*

In addition, REALTORS® who meet Chrysler’s requirements for their “On the Job” program will receive a free, two-year service agreement that includes eight oil changes, lube and filter. This service agreement is worth nearly $300.

The $500 cash allowance is available to NAR members and to any immediate family members living in the same household.

NAR members and staff can take advantage of this offer to purchase or lease multiple vehicles as long as they meet the requirements of the program.

From Test-Drive to Driveway
Bill Armstrong, NAR’s 2012 treasurer, test-drove a Chrysler at the 2011 REALTORS® Conference & Expo in Anaheim, where the partnership was announced. Armstrong took advantage of the Chrysler allowance when he and his wife, Pam, purchased a 2012 Town and Country Limited minivan. She will use the vehicle for her veterinary work and to ferry their family around.

“What a benefit this program is for those REALTORS® who are interested in buying a car,” says Armstrong. “We were in the market for a car anyway, and we like Chryslers. This incentive was enough to get us to the dealership and make the purchase.”

Pam Armstrong says she asked her husband to bring the car home before he purchased it so they could check its capacity. “I needed to make sure we all fit comfortably—we have three kids and three dogs. It definitely meets that need for our family. I’m very excited about my new car,” she adds.

Gear Up for Maximum Savings
The $500 cash allowance and service plan will apply in addition to any other Chrysler Group incentives and special programs. For instance, Armstrong explains that the Chrysler dealership where he bought his new minivan offers two years of service on new vehicles. “So with the two years offered in the NAR partnership program, I’ll have four years of free service.”

Not counting possible additional incentives, REALTORS® who take advantage of the “On the Job” service program will receive a six-fold return on their annual NAR membership dues.

Hit the Web before You Hit the Road
REALTORS® should visit and follow the steps outlined on the site before they head to their Chrysler dealership. This will ensure that they understand which models are applicable for the $500 allowance, and that they are prepared with the right materials in order to receive the best price on their car.

Once they’ve followed the steps on the website and are ready to purchase their car, their local Chrysler dealer can answer any questions about the program’s details.
