Coldwell Banker Real Estate was named among the top 45 companies for excellence in learning and development by Chief Learning Officer magazine in its second annual LearningElite rankings, the company has announced. Coldwell Banker Real Estate was ranked in No. 19, and was the only real estate brand named to the list—joined by companies such as General Mills, AT&T and McDonald’s Corp.
“Trusted real estate professionals are constantly working to provide clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to make smart decisions. So it only makes sense that Coldwell Banker provide the industry’s best tools and expertise to our worldwide network,” says Budge Huskey, president and COO, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.
The LearningElite program is a peer-based benchmarking initiative that recognizes excellence using five key learning and development performance indicators: learning strategy, learning execution, learning impact, business performance results and leadership commitment. The ranking was developed under the guidance of a group of chief learning officers and senior learning and development practitioners to recognize organizations that employ exemplary workforce development strategies.
In the past year, Coldwell Banker University has leveraged advanced technologies and focused its training on streaming video, social media collaboration and online communities of practice with its launch of the BlueView and Managing Broker Academy online learning portals.
“We’re honored by our ranking in the LearningElite program and look forward to expanding our programs even further,” says David Birnbaum, vice president, learning, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.
