The Real Estate Book, one of the nation’s most established brands for marketing homes for sale, continues to expand into new areas. The advertising vehicle offers real estate agents the ability to market their listings through highly targeted local advertising plus wide out of market exposure via the Web. The business model has remained profitable for independent business owners and the company despite challenges in the housing industry.

“Today, more than ever, it’s important to really market a home to sell it,” says Matt Smith, Director of Market Development for NewPoint Media Group, LLC, publishers of The Real Estate Book. “The top real estate agents, who are our clients, know that they will sell homes more quickly and for a better price than an agent who does not advertise the home. Quite frankly, home sellers should expect this level of service from a real estate professional when paying them to sell their home.”

Distributors in over 300 markets across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean are working closely with the local real estate community to publish homes for sale in a locally distributed homes magazine, on the Web, and through mobile marketing tools like text codes and QR codes placed on sign riders in front of the home. Profits from the local advertising sale go to the local distributor, an independent business owner.

“We’ve been doing this for over 30 years,” Smith adds. “And we have the system, the training, the support, and the branding that real estate professionals and consumers recognize and trust. Our offer has expanded over the years to include all the tools today’s consumers use because we know this business better than anyone else.”

“This year, we also opened markets in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; South King County near Seattle, Wash.; Tacoma, Wash.; San Diego, Calif.; and Yolo County, Calif., among others,” Smith says. “We offer great opportunities for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a good dose of drive. New launches are currently planned in Calgary, Beverly Hills, and the north shore of Boston.

“We are actively seeking new publishers in Bergen County, N.J.; Salt Lake City, Utah; Sacramento, Calif.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Burlington, Vt.; Mercer and Middlesex Counties, N.J.; the San Francisco Bay Area; and Dothan, Ala. – just to name a few. However, we are always looking for new markets and are open to discussing other areas as well.”
