Global real estate franchiser RE/MAX is the highest ranking real estate organization in the 2012 Franchise Times Top 200, the company has announced. The survey is based on worldwide sales and RE/MAX has held the top position for four years in a row.
In the 12th annual Top 200 survey published in the October edition of Franchise Times magazine, RE/MAX ranked 16th among all franchises. Some of the top-ranked franchises identified in the Top 200 survey include McDonald’s, 7-11, Hertz, and Hyatt Hotels.
“RE/MAX, is pleased to be ranked alongside many of the most respected franchise names in the world,” says Margaret Kelly, RE/MAX CEO. “As we make plans to celebrate our 40th anniversary, we recognize the outstanding performance of our agents as our greatest resource and the reason that RE/MAX is so often honored in surveys like the Top 200.”
RE/MAX continues to enjoy significant growth. It recently announced that it will soon open in China, and worldwide franchise sales through September are 22 percent higher than the same period last year. Franchise sales in Brazil are 229 percent higher than 2011 and in Southern Africa sales are up 77 percent. “The quality tools and services that RE/MAX offers help our agents provide the ultimate in customer service,” says Kelly.
In 2012, two other respected industry surveys have ranked RE/MAX agents as the industry’s most productive among the national brands.
