The Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) announced recently that it has signed an agreement with Realtors Property Resource, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Association of REALTORS®, to bring RPR’s national property database to their REALTOR® members.
According to HAR CEO Bob Hale, “The Houston Association of REALTORS® is pleased to bring this exciting NAR member benefit to our 24,000 members. The leadership of HAR has always been committed to offering the highest level of service to its members. We decided to offer RPR because we believe that the multiple sources of information provided by RPR on a national level can be of great benefit to the REALTORS® working in Houston and its numerous contiguous market areas serviced by HAR.
“The RPR Application is a parcel-centric, national database designed to offer advanced technology tools and features that can be utilized to provide clients and customers with dynamic reports and analytics which can assist them in making better informed decisions when buying or selling properties,” says NAR CEO, Dale Stinton. ”The end goal of RPR is to provide NAR’s 1,000,000+ REALTOR® members with valuable data sets such as tax assessment, public records, mortgages and liens, schools, flood maps, aerial and geo-point imagery, and demographics with the largest database of foreclosure data in the industry and aggregate that data with the local active and off market property information through partnerships with local, regional and statewide MLSs to benefit their REALTOR® members.”
HAR Chair Wayne Stroman says, “The mission of HAR is to deliver the best in real estate technology to its members, and to provide products and services that assist REALTORS® in maximizing property data reports and analytics to help their clients and customers. RPR offers HAR the ability to expand upon its overall technology offering to its REALTOR® members.
