This month, for the second year in a row, Century 21 President and CEO, Rick Davidson will be leading the Climb For Kids team over two mountains in Mexico, all in support of Easter Seals, the company has announced.
Rick will lead a team of six other Century 21 professionals as they scale two Mexican volcanoes, Pico de Orizaba and IztaccÃhuatl, effectively ascending more than 35,000 feet.
According to the company, in preparation for the climb, Davidson and his team participate in a rigorous training regimen which includes extended inclined treadmill workouts with weighted backpacks, 3-5 hour hikes with weighted packs as well as parking garage and stadium workouts – all focusing on legs, core, back and cardio.
Davidson’s personal goal is to raise $36,650 – that’s $1 for every foot of elevation. Overall, the team hopes to drive $100,000 in funds for Easter Seals.
