More than 6,000 top RE/MAX agents and broker-owners gathering for their annual R4 Convention in Las Vegas watched the unveiling of the brand-new RE/MAX design center during the opening General Session.
The features of the new design center are sure to secure its standing as one of the industry’s most powerful and comprehensive productivity platforms, providing agents with multichannel connections to consumers through mobile, social, video and an array of other digital and traditional marketing methods – all in one application. The new RE/MAX design center is powered by industry leader Imprev.
“The design center has been the envy of our competitors and one of the most loved agent resources since we launched it in 2006,” says RE/MAX CEO Margaret Kelly. “It truly revolutionized RE/MAX agent marketing and helped agents better leverage the power of the RE/MAX brand. The new design center offers even more automated marketing tools for agents to engage buyers and sellers.”
The rollout of the new RE/MAX design center, which now features a highly modern, touch-friendly interface, began last Monday.
Industry expert Brian Boero, cofounder of 1000Watt, notes that RE/MAX recognized early on that an integrated marketing platform would provide a competitive advantage to their agents. “Now, most real estate companies know that providing their agents with the right tools is essential to recruit and retain top talent,” Boero says. “When you get agents to build all their property and personal promotion materials in one place, it makes it very sticky. These platforms also ensure agents don’t screw up your company’s brand.”
“Imprev has clearly leap-frogged the competition,” Boero adds.
Renwick Congdon, CEO of Imprev, notes the multi-million dollar, year-long development project to build a new marketing platform for RE/MAX was the largest effort in his company’s 12-year history.
“It’s an impressive feat for any company,” Congdon notes. “The challenge isn’t just building a cool product that’s easy to use. The challenge is re-creating your product without negatively impacting your existing clients.”
“The end result shows what good technology can accomplish –the automation of important tasks– from creation to publishing and distribution,” Congdon adds, explaining that the new marketing platform does the work for the agent, be it a web site, Facebook or Twitter post, email campaign, video, virtual tour, listing presentation, flyer or postcard.
Fundamental to the RE/MAX decision to select Imprev as its key marketing technology provider was the company’s track record for reliability. “Last year, the RE/MAX design center was always available – not a second of downtime,” Kelly says. “That’s something few technology companies ever achieve,” she says.
