Members of the Prudential Real Estate franchise network convened at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas March 10-12 for the network’s annual Sales Convention.
More than 3,400 real estate professionals from across North America attended the event to gain insight from motivational speakers, hear market observations, attend workshops and panel discussions, and connect with professionals across the network.
Earl Lee, chief executive officer of HSF Affiliates LLC, said the air was charged with excitement and anticipation during the conference. “The U.S. economy and real estate market are gradually improving, and you could sense the optimism in our Sales Convention attendees,” said Lee. “Our network is poised to capitalize on better times.”
This year’s theme, HitPLAY: Every Moment Matters, focused on the many opportunities Prudential Real Estate professionals face in the transitioning market. “It’s an important time in real estate,” said Stephen Phillips, HSF Affiliates chief operating officer. “Our convention underscored for agents the importance of acting now to grow their businesses.”
Keynote speakers, social entrepreneurs and humanitarians Craig and Marc Kielburger challenged the audience to be world changers and showed how one person can make a difference. Speaker Dr. Peter Diamandis, chairman and CEO of the X PRIZE Foundation, discussed how four forces—exponential technologies, the DIY innovator, the techno-philanthropist, and the rising billion—are conspiring to solve our biggest problems.
Attendees followed a busy seminar and workshop schedule focusing on topics and techniques critical to success in real estate today.
The Prudential Real Estate network honored its most successful professionals for their 2012 production achievement during Sales Convention. Many of the honorees were recognized on stage.
In addition, Prudential California Realty, operating in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties, was named the network’s top brokerage; and Mark Stark, CEO of Americana Holdings, operator of Las Vegas-based Prudential Americana Group, REALTORS® and Prudential Arizona Properties in Scottsdale, AZ, was tapped as the network’s Broker of the Year.
Network members also attended the show of Grammy award-winning artist Celine Dion in conjunction with a charity program benefiting The Sunshine Kids, an organization supporting children with cancer. The Prudential Real Estate Network raised more than $1.3 million for The Sunshine Kids in 2012 and another $70,000 during Sales Convention.
Additional Sales Convention activities included the Vendor & Exhibitor Showcase featuring real estate vendors, products and services, and the Splashtacular Theme Party. Affiliate members typically use these events to build alliances and establish relationships for additional business promotion.
HSF Affiliates also unveiled the new Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices real estate brand logo, quality seal and colors – cabernet and cream – at Sales Convention. The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand will be available later in 2013 and will operate alongside Prudential Real Estate and Real Living Real Estate in the HSF Affiliates franchise family.
The network will hold its 2014 Sales Convention March 16-18 at the Nashville Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn.
