A team of 18 brokers and staff from ERA Real Estate, recently completed a Tough Mudder event in Jacksonville, Fla., raising more than $7,500 for Wounded Warrior Project.
“This achievement is just one example of the good will, leadership and camaraderie evident throughout the ERA Real Estate franchise system, said president and CEO of ERA Real Estate, Charlie Young.
Just before Memorial Day, the ERA Mudders completed the 12-mile mud course riddled with grueling obstacles in just over four hours. Obstacles included an ice bath known as the Arctic Plunge and the infamous Electroshock Therapy, which promises a few jolts of electricity-up to 10,000 volts.
“Our goal was to give back to those who have given everything to ensure our freedom,” says broker/owner and team captain Gus Grizzard of ERA Tom Grizzard in Leesburg, Fla. “In the process, we gained a new perspective on teamwork, finding encouragement and inspiration while watching teammates power through mentally and physically challenging obstacles.”
