“K” stands for Knowledge – The ability to grasp information, process it and then act on it. There is nothing sadder for me than visiting with agents who aren’t living up to the career goals they have set for themselves. They believe, really believe, that all they need is more information to succeed. The fact is that most of these types of agents (unlucky) are already suffering from way too much information, but are short on knowledge. These agents have so many options that they continue to evaluate them, over and over, without ever acting on the one or two things that will move them forward.
So, for me, LUCK is the dominant characteristic for long-term success in real estate, as well as most other fields. LUCK can be developed, over time, through fundamentals, hard work and willingness.
