Prudential Select Properties, a provider of residential real estate services to the Greater St. Louis area, launched its Select Military Career Development Program, which kicked off on Mon., November 11, the company announced.
This program is geared toward veterans and is designed to ease the transition from military to civilian life for veterans and their spouses by offering a bundle of services to assist them with the costs and entry into the real estate industry.
“The men and women of our military have made sacrifices for us that we can never repay,” said Maryann Vitale, President and CEO of Prudential Select Properties. “But as a community, we owe it to them to do whatever we can to make their return to civilian life as seamless as possible. By providing them with the necessary tools and resources, this program should get them well on their way to launching a successful career in real estate.”
Veterans and their spouses eligible for the program will receive a set of services at no cost. These services include a real estate school pre-licensing course, Missouri real estate practice, application and licensing fees, state exam, errors and omissions, business sales training, business cards, announcement cards and press release, yard signs, a full year subscription to Prudential’s suite of technology tools and services, and a feature announcement in local newspapers, public websites, and social media.
Additionally, each Prudential Select Properties office is fully-staffed with full-time sales managers and administrative assistants who are present to train, guide, and support veterans’ achievements of personal and financial success.
“This program is a great opportunity for veterans, but it also gives us a great chance to add some of the most dependable employees you can find,” said Angie Ignatowski, Relocation Director of Prudential Select Properties. “Veterans have already displayed an enormous degree of self-discipline and attention to detail. We’d be lucky to hire as many of them as possible.”
