Gloria Nilson & Co. Real Estate, a leading high-end real estate brokerage with 20 offices in New Jersey, has announced it will open its first-ever Pennsylvania office in Washington Crossing. Located within historic Bucks County, at 1075-4 River Road, the office will open in the coming weeks and has been dubbed “The Crossings.”
With the opening of its first Pennsylvania office, Gloria Nilson is perfectly poised to serve clients of New Hope, Yardley, Newtown, Lahaska, Washington Crossing and beyond, the company stated. The satellite office will be managed by Emily Kettenburg who will continue to oversee the sister office in Hopewell Valley, NJ. Building on recent development, this marks the 21st office for Gloria Nilson.
“We are delighted to be opening our first ever office in Pennsylvania,” said Dick Schlott, owner of Gloria Nilson. “Our Washington Office will bring opportunities to serve our Delaware Valley area neighbors in a full-time capacity for the first time. Expansion into Pennsylvania has been a long-time part of our strategy and we felt there was no better way to end 2013 than to reinforce our area footprint.”
Schlott also noted that, “Bucks County was a natural selection for Gloria Nilson & Co. as the Delaware Valley offers endless real estate opportunities. The region is known for country living, historic charm, great shopping & village town centers all within an easy commute to both NYC and Philadelphia. The landscape brings about rolling hills, valley views, commercial centers, town, cities and not to mention more than its fair share of covered bridges. The Delaware Valley region is simply a must-visit location.”
He said because of the company’s offices being located on the New Jersey side of the river, they find that their licensed Pennsylvania agents have increased their sales activity in the communities of Bucks County and their clients, both corporate and private, want the company to better serve that area.
Schlott commented that the Delaware Valley market has and continues to be brisk. The expansion into this region with a physical plant will also allow their PA-licensed agents to serve the demands of their clients and customers. “We look forward to future expansion within this region,” Schlott said.
The company’s sales volume for year over year is up 30% in the market area, Schlott said, adding, “We have seen increased activity even during the recent slowdown that the politicians in D.C. have created.”
To start, 27 agents will serve Bucks County clients. With Center City Philadelphia only 45 minutes south and New York City approximately 90 minutes away, Bucks County is home to scenic countryside and corporations including AT&T, Bristol Myers Squibb, Merrill Lynch, ETS, and Janssen Pharmaceuticals. Nearby educational institutions include Bucks County Community College, La Salle University Bucks County Center, Princeton University, and The College of New Jersey.
