An approved elective for NAR’s Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation, the Military Relocation Professional Certification Core Course provides REALTORS® with resources to help military personnel find housing solutions that best meet their needs and allow them to take full advantage of their military benefits. REALTORS® who take this course can hone their knowledge and skills in working with veterans and active-duty military buyers and sellers.
REALTOR® Designation Awareness Month
To help members keep up in today’s dynamic real estate environment, NAR established November as Designation Awareness Month to encourage members to start or complete any of the official family of designations or certifications through NAR and its affiliates. Covering a wide range of real estate specialties, the designations and certifications are helping brokers and their agents increase their expertise and marketability.
The benefit of earning a designation or certification is proven to increase a member’s earnings. Based on 2013 NAR data, the median income of REALTORS® without a designation was $33,500 and the median income of those with at least one designation was $61,100: a difference of $27,600. NAR will continue to update and refine its education offerings to keep pace with constant change in the real estate marketplace and exceed the needs of those dedicated to lifelong learning and becoming a market leader.
To celebrate Designation Awareness Month, NAR is offering 20 percent off all online designation and certification courses offered through its School of Professional Development and Continuing Education in November.
