When someone says their home is in ”ship-shape,” they usually don’t mean it in the literal sense. However, actor Jay Huguley’s home is anything but usual. The actor, who has starred in “Treme,” “Star-Crossed” and “Ravenswood,” has a home in Silver Lake with curving, nautical-inspired lines that lend the feeling you’re inside a boat, making the Silver Lake location even more fitting.
The upscale, open-floor home was designed in 1936 by William Kesling, and is often referred to as Wilson House. Huguley purchased the home, which has views of the Silver Lake Reservoir, in 2007. Rumor has it, when searching for a home, he gave his agent a unique task: to find something “architecturally special,” from a period of time before the ’60s.
