RE/MAX Regional Services (RRS) has announced the launch of its new mobile app for its nearly 3,500 RE/MAX brokers and agents and their clients. The new app offers brokers and agents the most technologically-advanced tools on the market to help brand their businesses and better serve their clients.
For buyers, the new RE/MAX app offers two key features—MAXview and Inrix Drive Time—the newest technologies available to the real-estate industry. MAXview offers buyers real-time views of for-sale properties in any selected area through the camera feed of a mobile device.
It allows buyers to quickly see listing locations and related data within a one mile radius of their current position. Drive Time allows buyers to target their search area based on their desired commute time. Users can enter a work, school, daycare or other known address then set their preferred travel time at a given time of day. For example, if a buyer wants a 30-minute commute in 8 a.m. traffic, Drive Time will shade the areas that meet this criteria.
For brokers and agents, the new RE/MAX app allows them to create their own branded app to share with current and prospective clients. The app can be customized, allowing brokers and agents to provide their own name, images and contact information. The app also can be shared and promoted through a website widget, text message, QR code, or email signature link.
“Our goal when developing the new app was to create a user-friendly tool that incorporated the latest technology available to give users unique searching tools that do far more than provide general listing data,” said Jeanette Schneider, senior vice president, RE/MAX Regional Services. “This new app clearly sets us apart from the competition. It is the premier search tool for real-estate professionals and prospective home buyers.”
Additional key features of the new RE/MAX app include:
– Instantly update for-sale property information on map with the swipe of a finger.
– Review and compare full-size property photos side-by-side.
– Obtain detailed property information overlayed on map including price, address, MLS #, square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms.
– Save favorite properties to your personal account and view on any Apple or Android device using “My Property” feature.
“Our business has evolved tremendously in recent years as more home buyers rely on technology to begin their home search,” said Dane Ellison, chief executive officer, RE/MAX Regional Services. “The next logical step was to develop a mobile tool that allows our buyers to search for a home in any neighborhood at any time.”
The new RE/MAX app is available on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. It is free to download through the Apple App Store and Google Play Market under the following names:
– RE/MAX of Georgia MAXview Home Search
– RE/MAX of Kentucky MAXview Home Search
– RE/MAX of Southern Ohio MAXview Home Search
– RE/MAX of Tennessee MAXview Home Search
