During the Chatt Hills Eventing Three Day Event from October 25-27, Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta sponsored the Two-Star Eventer Nicky Buckingham and her horse Could’ev Ben & Jerrys (Newton), both from the United Kingdom.
Nicky Buckingham and her horse placed 6th out of 18 riders in the Chatt Hills Event. They had a score of 31 in the Dressage test and a clear cross country run on Saturday, putting them in 2nd place. Sunday was stadium jumping with one rail down. This last phase brought them to a final 6th place.
“I very much appreciate the sponsorship from E&V Buckhead Atlanta that made this event possible for us – and the great spectators from E&V made it so much fun for everyone,” said Buckingham. “All in all, I am very pleased with Newton. He was a perfect gentleman and did his job like a professional. My fellow riders and friends kept asking me about all the champagne corks popping. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did!”
Shirley Gary, Managing Broker of Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta and many of her company’s staff and real estate advisors attended the event, and Gary remarked: “Just like in the real estate business, precision, accuracy and timing are what score points, earn reputations and ultimately decide the winners.”
Valerie Levin, Engel & Völkers Buckhead Atlanta’s Senior Vice President of Business Development and Operations and herself a life-long equestrienne, presented her horse Harley, sporting the new E&V Buckhead Atlanta logos, to the crowd at Chatt Hills.
