Jennie Craig, StewartTitle vice president, marketing programs and media relations, was recently selected by MReport as a 2015 “Leading Lady” in its August 2015 special issue, “Women in Housing.” The issue recognizes women working within the housing and mortgage industries who have made significant accomplishments and achievements during their career.
“Jennie has been a driving force in promoting Stewart as a thought leader in the mortgage and title insurance industry,” says John Arcidiacono, chief marketing officer, Stewart. “Her dedication to our company, our customers, our partners and the industry is inspirational. I am thrilled that she was recognized by MReport as a leading lady.”
Craig has worked in a leadership role at Stewart for 10 years where she handles marketing and promotion for the mortgage and title group, product marketing, media relations, social media, speaking engagements and event marketing for the organization. In 2013-2014 Craig was selected by Stewart to be a part of the Accelerated Leadership Development Program, a program to develop Stewart’s future leaders in which 18 Stewart associates were selected across the organization to participate in this yearlong leadership training.
Craig is actively involved in a number of industry associations including the American Land Title Association (ALTA) serving on their membership committee, Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) and Five Star’s Title and Closing Coalition. In addition, Craig is a member of several professional organizations including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), American Marketing Association (AMA) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She began her career in Austin, TX working in positions of increasing responsibility for information technology and services start-ups where she focused on product marketing, mergers and acquisitions. Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts from Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State University, majoring in organizational communications with a minor in mass communications and public relations.
