The 2015 Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) will wrap up tonight after three days of networking and educational sessions, including a panel on “Evolving Real Estate Trends” with RISMedia Executive Vice President Darryl MacPherson, held Saturday morning.
MacPherson will join a number of industry executive leaders for the discussion, including: AREAA co-founder and broker at Better Homes & Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate John Yen Wong; Gino Blefari, CEO of HSF Affiliates, which operates the brokerage networks of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Prudential Real Estate and Real Living Real Estate; Skylar Olsen Ph.D., senior economist, Zillow; and Rob Wolf, CEO, Better Homes & Gardens Mason-McDuffie Real Estate
The panel will convene to discuss emerging trends in real estate and what’s on the horizon for U.S. brokers in the coming years.
The overall theme of AREAA’s National Convention, being held at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, reflected on the historical impact that Asian Americans have had on the U.S., both culturally and economically. The convention also joined the city’s 150-year celebration of the Transcontinental Railroad by highlighting the important role Asian Americans played in its construction. The conference also highlighted contributions Asian Americans have made in today’s advanced technologies industry. The theme of this year’s convention was “Gateway to Our Future.”
Founded in 2003, the Asian Real Estate Association of America is a nonprofit professional trade organization dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities in Asian American communities by creating a powerful national voice for housing and real estate professionals that serve this dynamic market.
