Help-U-Sell Real Estate has hired veteran broker John Powell to serve in the newly created role of chief development officer. Powell has been associated with the set-fee, full-service real estate franchise since 1989, most recently as a franchise office broker-owner in Arizona.
In his new position, Powell will apply his knowledge and skills from being an instructor at Help-U-Sell University and a speaker at the company’s conventions to coach existing offices to increase their production and profitability. His past as a regional director for the company will help him grow the franchise by bringing in new brokers.
Powell is an ideal fit for the chief development officer position because of his passion for the unique business model and the opportunities it offers brokers and consumers. “I believe that Help-U-Sell Real Estate is the best value for the consumer of any other brand out there,” he says. “Clients receive the full service of an experienced broker doing all of the things that would be expected of a full-service broker, but they can save thousands of dollars in equity due to our unique business model. Brokers run an efficient broker-centric model as opposed to an agent-based model. All of this gives the consumer a better real estate buying and selling experience.”
While he spread the company’s message in the Tucson area as broker/owner of Help-U-Sell Galleria, his new position affords him the chance to do this on a larger scale.
“I joined the corporate team to help as many brokers as possible enjoy the success that I have experienced with Help-U-Sell Real Estate,” Powell says.
“We are excited to welcome John as our chief development officer,” says Robert Stevens, Help-U-Sell Real Estate’s chief operating officer. “He brings decades of real estate and regional development experience, on top of being a Help-U-Sell Real Estate family member for nearly 30 years. John will be driving network growth and development to help us reach our goals for 2016-17 and beyond.”
Powell officially began working with the corporate team in April 2016.
