NRT LLC recently announced that its New England operation has acquired the assets of a full-service, residential real estate marketing firm, The Collaborative Companies in Boston. The newly acquired operation will continue to conduct business as The Collaborative Companies. The acquisition strengthens NRT’s vertical urban and suburban development in the Greater Boston area.
With 30 employees, the single-office The Collaborative Companies specializes in developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing programs for large-scale, vertical urban and suburban development projects throughout Greater Boston. The Collaborative Companies is currently involved in more than $1 billion dollars of projects in the Greater Boston area.
“The Collaborative Companies represents some of the most prominent development projects in the region, and this acquisition expands our presence and strengthens our foothold in the vertical real estate development space,” says Maureen Passerini, executive vice president of the Northeast and Eastern Seaboard regions of NRT. “With the addition of The Collaborative Companies, we have significantly bolstered our ability to successfully service urban and suburban residential developers as they launch and create some of the most groundbreaking housing developments in and around Boston.”
Sue Hawkes, owner and CEO of The Collaborative Companies, will continue with the company as managing director of The Collaborative Companies.
“By joining with this premier real estate brokerage company, our employees will gain access to industry-leading technology, as well as NRT’s nationwide reach, which will help them excel even further at marketing substantial residential real estate projects,” says Hawkes. “Our clients and customers will greatly benefit from this relationship, and I look forward to continuing to lead this group as we thrive in this competitive landscape.”
