Following on the heels of recent executive appointments aimed at enhancing the company’s growth strategy, NRT LLC announced a heightened focus on organic growth with the promotion of Monty Smith to the role of President of Company Generated Business. In his expanded role, Smith will oversee the servicing of incremental customer opportunities from all channels for NRT as well as pursue new business relationships to increase those opportunities. He will have direct responsibility for NRT’s relocation and internet lead service centers in addition to NRT’s Coldwell Banker Powered by Zip and ZipRealty Residential Brokerage operations. These sources comprised approximately 10 percent of NRT’s closed business in 2015.

During his career with NRT, Smith has coordinated the efforts of NRT’s relocation and internet lead service centers around the country as well as been involved in leading several enterprise-level marketing and technology initiatives. He has served as a member of the Google Real Estate, Trulia and DotLoop Advisory Boards. He is an active member of the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and was honored earlier this year with their Meritorious Service Award for his contributions. Smith holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation.
