Members of Realogy’s senior leadership recently served as speakers at the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) 2016 National Convention, with a significant showing of the 2016 AREAA top producer A-List affiliated with a Realogy brand. Realogy speakers included Sunita Holzer, executive vice president and chief human resources officer, Realogy; Sherry Chris, president and CEO, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate; Cara Whitley, chief marketing officer, Century 21 Real Estate; Craig Hogan, vice president, Luxury, Coldwell Banker Real Estate; and Shannon Poser, vice president, Operations and Brand Development, ERA Real Estate.
Realogy’s speakers discussed a range of topics, including the state of Asia America, the Asian global investment outlook, Asian consumer trends, global real estate transaction tools, real estate careers, international business expansion, leadership best practices, green and smart homes, recruiting a diverse staff, establishing a luxury presence, internet marketing and housing policy.
“I was honored to be a speaker at the AREAA Convention and proud of the strong representation that Realogy had at this engaging industry event,” says Holzer. “AREAA members are working toward increasing homeownership of the Asian American and Pacific Island community, and we are steadfast in our commitment to partner with them in that pursuit.”
AREAA and 2016 National Chair Vicky Silvano, with CENTURY 21 S.G.R., marked the achievement of the “No Other” campaign at the convention, as well. The campaign aimed to disaggregate “Other” category data collected by the U.S. Census Bureau in its quarterly homeownership report. The Census report now includes a standalone Asian American/Pacific Islander category.
Tim Hur, in addition, a speaker with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, was elected 2017 Treasurer/Secretary for AREAA National at the convention.
