Realtor.com® has launched “Homeblebrag,” the newest component of its “Own Home” marketing campaign, operator Move, Inc., a News Corp subsidiary, recently announced. Homeblebrag, a play on the #humblebrag social media movement, allows homeowners to customize a shareable video bragging about their home featuring actress, producer and director Elizabeth Banks.
“The Homeblebrag campaign builds upon our hilarious two-year relationship with Elizabeth Banks,” says Andrew Strickman, head of Brand and chief creative for realtor.com. “Not only can realtor.com help you find your dream home, we can place Liz in your front yard. You may be too humble to brag about your exciting new home purchase, but realtor.com and Elizabeth Banks are not.”
Homblebrag offers homebuyers or renters the opportunity to boast about their new home—with Banks—simply by entering their address at www.realtor.com/homeblebrag. Homeblebrag creates a video with Banks on their front lawn or in front of their building bragging about the best qualities of their new home.
The “Own Home” campaign, launched in June, was created by Pereira & O’Dell in collaboration with realtor.com’s brand team. The campaign is comprised of television ads, digital videos and social integrations.
