Engel & VĂ¶lkers has announced its latest franchise expansion in Fort Lauderdale; marking the company’s eighth and ninth locations in South Florida. Francisco Garcia, formerly a real estate advisor with Engel & VĂ¶lkers, has secured the rights to Engel & VĂ¶lkers Fort Lauderdale and Engel & VĂ¶lkers Fort Lauderdale Beach and will lead the brokerages as its License Partner. The Fort Lauderdale brokerage is set to open in late 2018 and the latter sometime in 2019.
Engel & VĂ¶lkers has maintained a presence in the Fort Lauderdale market since 2008. As a lifelong entrepreneur, Garcia was an ideal candidate to continue the brandâ€™s success, according to the company. A relative newcomer to the real estate industry, Garcia has had tremendous success specializing in new construction sales. Prior to his career move to the real estate industry, Garcia owned and operated 27 successful nightclubs and bars in South Florida.

He aims to position the brokerage and its advisors as market leaders, with clearly defined submarket specializations. Likewise, Garcia is also exploring merger, acquisition and roll in opportunity’s with independently-owned brokerages to grow his business and footprint in the Fort Lauderdale market.
