A coalition of RE/MAX franchisees have formed the RMX Franchisee Association, a collaborative focused on growing and improving the RE/MAX brand. The franchisees met in December, and will again gather next month. According to an announcement by the group:
Experienced broker/owners met to discuss challenges in the marketplace and the dynamic changes in the industry that affect how we do business. As the real estate industry is always evolving, so are brokerages and the brokers who lead them. RE/MAX is home to top-producing agents, and the RE/MAX balloon has always been a symbol of both disruption and leadership. We look forward to continuing those traditions.Â
The RE/MAX network of broker/owners is comprised of industry leaders who all face common goals and challenges. The new RMX Franchisee Association will allow us to facilitate mentorship, encourage collaboration, enhance educational opportunities, and so much more. We know that we are stronger together, both in how we work with each other and with RE/MAX, LLC. Accomplishing ambitious goals is a responsibility we all share, and together we can continue to dominate the real estate landscape. It is an exciting time, and we look forward to joining forces to make our network and industry even stronger.
The association is headed up by Scott MacDonald, broker/owner of RE/MAX Gateway in Chantilly, Va., with a board consisting of MacDonald as president, and:Â

We look forward to continuing to build a bright future together.”
The association is expected to meet regularly, either in-person or through conference calls or virtual meetings. According to the announcement:
In these collaborative meetings, we will map out strategies, set deadlines for accomplishment and focus on work that will move the needle on team structure, growth and technology enhancements.
