Barry Miller has joined RE/MAX Masters Millennium as a broker associate, according to an announcement by the company. Known as the “Father of Buyer Brokering,” Miller founded the National Association of REALTORS®’ Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) and the independent National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA).
As a leading consumer advocate, Miller has joined RE/MAX Masters Millennium to work alongside the No. 1 top-producing single-office RE/MAX franchise in the nation, and believes together they are already accomplishing great things for home sellers, homebuyers and for the real estate industry at large.
“Why shouldn’t this country’s leading consumer advocate residential real estate agent, often referred to as ‘Mr. Consumer Advocate,’ be teamed up with this country’s leading productive office, RE/MAX Masters Millennium?” ask Miller and Jim Wanzeck, broker/owner of RE/MAX Masters Millennium.
After serving in Vietnam, Miller finished his three U.S. Army years stationed at Fitzsimons Army Hospital in Aurora, Colo. Before real estate, Miller worked for Westinghouse Corp Financial Management and the Colorado Education Association. During his first year as a real estate agent in 1978, he produced $1 million in sales volume. Since 1980, he has been the broker/owner of his own firm, and has founded two national exclusive buyer broker franchises, one with 30-plus offices in six states and the other exceeding 100 offices in 24 states.
With appearances on national TV shows including Today, CBS This Morning, CNN and many regional and local channels, plus articles and interviews in many national magazines such as Money, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and others, Miller is nationally recognized as one of the best in the business. He is the author of “Smart Home Buying for Smart Home Buyers” and is finishing up a similar book for smart home sellers. In 2015, Miller started his own radio show, The Barry and Larry Show, live every Saturday morning on 630KHOW.
Miller is also a dedicated father and husband and an active member of the community, supporting many charitable organizations as well as coaching his son’s baseball and lacrosse.
When it comes to consumer information resources, Miller and Wanzeck agree that the Homendo-powered RE/MAX Masters Millennium website is one of the most useful tools for consumers as well as agents. Homendo rejuvenates the home-buying experience, where buyers get the personal touch of a skilled and experienced broker as well as easy access to listed properties throughout all of Colorado. Wanzeck says, “Try it now—it is superior to other websites.”

Interesting. However, the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents was not founded by Barry Miller. There were a number of founders in 1995. Also, although the ‘Real Estate Buyer Agents Council’ (REBAC) was created and owned by Barry Miller – he sold it to NAR for a profit. Currently REBAC – a subsidiary of NAR, is a leading misinformation service purporting to send potential home buyers to a ‘buyer’s agent’ when in fact it funnels them to agents that work for companies that represent sellers. REBAC engages in illegal deceptive advertising for the benefit of companies like RE/MAX – Barry Miller’s current employer.

It will come as a surprise to NAEBA members that Barry Miller was the founder of NAEBA, the National Association of Exclusive Buyers Agents. Maybe RisMedia wants to do a bit of fact check before they publish articles. Pam BellExclusive Buyers Agentwww.BuyersAdvisors.com
