Tony Mattar co-founded HomeCo Chicago with Haley Levine in 2019. The company’s goal is to educate clients, whether they are buying or selling a home for the first time or have been through the process several times before.
Mattar enjoys working in Chicago, a dynamic city where he gets to meet a wide range of people and see a variety of properties every day. He previously worked as a REALTOR® for Keller Williams in Chicago. Mattar also founded Upgrade U, the largest homebuyer event series in Chicago.
Mattar created Men of Chicago Real Estate in 2018 to highlight successful male agents in several city brokerages and to raise money for charity. A dozen agents posed for a Men of Chicago Real Estate swimsuit calendar in 2018.
The calendar raised money for Chicago House and Social Service Agency, which provides housing, employment, HIV prevention, and legal services to members of the community impacted by HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ marginalization. The organization provides services to over 3,000 people each year.
“I feel so lucky to be part of an industry that allows for each individual to stay true to their own personality and personal brand, with no barriers to success,” Mattar said, according to Chicago Agent. “This calendar and the men in it are amazing examples of the fact that advancing initiatives like this can be fun and shouldn’t occur in a vacuum.”
