"Real estate seemed like a great choice to combine my passion for historic homes and architecture," she says of her career.

In order to sell luxury and historic homes quickly, King enlists the help of professionals for staging and photography and offers sellers advice on renovations. She also employs cutting-edge technology and is known for her commitment to providing excellent customer service and for her skills as a negotiator. King assists clients with each step of the real estate transaction, including finding a home, having it inspected, securing financing and insurance and renovating. In addition, she is a certified corporate relocation specialist who assists families and corporate clients who are moving to New Orleans from other states.

King's philanthropic activities include her support of Children's Hospital of New Orleans and the sustaining of the Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses located in the historic French Quarter. She was recently honored with the GARDNER REALTORS® Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to community service. Additionally, King was nominated as "Woman of the Year" by her colleagues and peers as a candidate for the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) campaign, raising over $800,000 last year for local cancer research and patient care.
