RISMedia’s Real Estate CEO Exchange

September 17 & 18, 2013

The Yale Club – New York, N.Y.

An Industry at Risk? Securing our Success on Real Estate’s New Playing Field

Are industry outsiders encroaching upon the traditional real estate business model? As the role of the real estate professional continues to fall under the microscope in today’s increasingly consumer-driven market, RISMedia’s 2013 Real Estate CEO Exchange will assemble top brokerage leaders and sought-after industry experts to discuss the current state of the industry, how we have and must further evolve, and what steps we must take to remain sustainable … not to mention, profitable.

This year’s Real Estate CEO Exchange will tackle the tough topics that are critically important to the success of brokerage owners, including: the potential exploitation of listing data associated with the nation’s primary consumer-centric real estate portals; the impact of new tax legislation and official Dodd-Frank rulings; strategies for increasing revenue in key market segments, such as investment, new construction, global and luxury; and new tactics for attracting, developing and retaining top-producing sales associates.

Are institutional investors helping to stabilize home prices while providing quality housing for renters? Or are they fueling the inventory shortage and competing with first-time homebuyers? This session will reveal the good, the bad and the ugly of the institutional single-family investor trend and discuss how brokers can work with this group to build a credible clientele and strong volume of business while preventing investors from saturating their respective markets with rentals and diminishing the quality of neighborhoods.
