RISMEDIA, March 9, 2007-Intero Real Estate Services has entered the Los Angeles real estate market with the opening of its first office in Woodland Hills. Real estate veteran Ron Ario, the former director of the Central and Southern California regions for Keller Williams, will lead Intero's growth in the LA region as Intero's Los Angeles territory chief executive. He will expand the company's presence by opening new franchise offices throughout the county.
Ario's leadership team includes Scott Green who has been a top producing agent in L.A. for 27 years and who helped co-found a highly successful North Valley brokerage before joining with Intero. Roger Hance, a real estate entrepreneur and innovator who has been in the industry for more than three decades, will consult with Intero on its expansion, operations and technology.
"These guys are the dream team for real estate leadership in Southern California," said Gino Blefari, founder, president and CEO of Intero Real Estate Services. "Our success has been built around finding the right people to lead us into new markets, and these three have the vision, experience, expertise and relationships that we need to be successful in LA."
Intero may be new to Los Angeles County, but the company is respected as one of the preeminent real estate brands in the country. Intero was founded in 2002, when founder Gino Blefari decided that it was time to "build a better brokerage." Within two years, the company was challenging national and regional real estate giants Coldwell Banker and Alain Pinel for the top spot as Silicon Valley's best real estate firm. In less than five, Intero has grown from one office to more than 60 offices, 2,200 agents and $5 billion in annual sales. It has been named as the fastest growing real estate company in the nation, out of 80,000 brokerages (Realtor Magazine, 2005) and the #1 residential real estate brokerage in Silicon Valley (Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal, 2005).
Blefari credits Intero's outstanding success to the company's unique culture, which has helped Intero recruit the top agents and management in every market it enters. Intero, an Italian word that means "entire" or "whole," is centered around the philosophy of empowering people-clients, agents and employees-to achieve their dreams in all areas of their life. The company treats its agents and clients as valued customers and encourages its people to conduct themselves according to a core set of values that include integrity, loyalty, team, commitment, compassion, professionalism, enthusiasm, competency, innovation & entrepreneurship, open communication, friendship, fun, focus, self control, confidence, trust and respect.
Ario says he first noticed Intero because of the company's outstanding reputation and brand recognition which is associated with superior client service. He believes that Southern California is lacking in quality, high-end real estate firms that truly give that same level of top-notch service to their clients and says Intero will fill this void.
"My intention for bringing Intero to LA is to revolutionize real estate in Los Angeles County." said Ario. "At Intero, success is defined as more than just financial gain. It encompasses a bigger picture, facilitating every aspect of what it takes to be happy and successful both professionally and personally. We're looking for people who have a strong desire to be great and achieve their life goals-for those, we can offer the tools they need, education and hands-on involvement in their training, to realize their dreams."
Ario has been in real estate for 25 years and before partnering with Intero was the Regional Director for Central and Southern California for Keller Williams. At Keller Williams, he expanded the company's footprint in four years from 20 agents in one office to well over 1,400 agents in 14 offices.
Scott Green, president of the Woodland Hills branch of Intero, will oversee that office's day-to-day operations and is responsible for the education and training of agents. He is an experienced leader, with 27-years in real estate as a top-producing agent in LA. He also co-founded L.A. County's Pinnacle Real Estate, which he helped to grow from eight agents to more than 300 during his tenure, turning it into the #1 real estate office in the
Northern San Fernando Valley.
Rounding out the leadership team is Roger Hance, who will be working as an operations and technology consultant to Intero Los Angeles. Roger is widely known as one of the biggest innovators in real estate in the last 30 years. He started out as an agent in the seventies, later went on to become one of the Southern California's top producers, and eventually started R.R. Gable, a company that included 10 real estate offices in LA and Ventura counties with over 500 agents. Roger has always been ahead of his time with regard to technology in real estate. In the early eighties, he created the industry's first computerized client management program, first fully automated office administration system and first computerized escrow processing system. He's also developed an industry-leading marketing and sales software platform that received recognition from the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors.
