RISMEDIA, Oct. 1, 2007-RE/MAX International announced that David M.K. Metzger has been chosen as the company’s new chief financial officer. Effective immediately, Metzger will assume responsibility for the finance department of RE/MAX Headquarters Companies.
Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board Dave Liniger said Metzger possesses the unique skills necessary to help guide RE/MAX into the future.

Metzger has an extensive background as an attorney and a CPA, with over 20 years experience in the corporate financial arena.

Prior to joining RE/MAX, Metzger served as the CFO and corporate counsel for two Boulder, Colorado firms-Sciona, Inc. and Airbase Services, Inc.. In these positions, his responsibilities included accounting, financial reporting, bank and investor relations, cash management, corporate taxation, raising capital, negotiating acquisitions, and strategic planning for domestic and international operations.
Previously, Metzger worked in a private equity firm, securing lines of credit. He received his law degree from The University of Baltimore School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.
