Prudential Douglas Elliman Leader joins November 13 panel
RISMEDIA, Oct. 24, 2007-On Tuesday, November 13th, eight of the most influential women in real estate will take part in RISMedia’s 12th Annual Power Broker Forum. Today, we spotlight panelist Dottie Herman, president and CEO of Prudential Douglas Elliman.
Herman’s domain at Prudential Douglas Elliman covers 3,500 real estate professionals and 650 employees working in 70 offices from Manhattan to Montauk. Under her leadership, Prudential Douglas Elliman has become an $11 billion business, and is on track to hitting $13 billion this year.
In addition to New York’s largest residential real estate brokerage, she also controls a portfolio of real estate services, including Manhattan’s largest residential property manager, Douglas Elliman Property Management, as well as PDE Title, and Preferred Empire Mortgage Company. Herman began her career on Long Island, and purchased Prudential Long Island Realty in 1989. After turning Prudential into a powerhouse brokerage on Long Island and in the Hamptons, she purchased Douglas Elliman, one of Manhattan’s largest brokerage, with her partner Howard Lorber, in 2003.
This year’s Forum-held Tuesday, November 13th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the Blue Man Group Theatre on Level 2 of the Venetian Hotel Resort Casino-will feature eight of real estate’s leading women and focus on the industry hot-button issues that matter most: profitability; marketing and messaging; education; and mortgage.
