HouseValues Acquires Realty Generator

November 7, 2007
Reading Time: 2 mins read

RISMEDIA, Nov. 8, 2007-HouseValues, Inc. announced it has acquired Realty Generator, a provider of marketing and technology solutions to real estate brokerage companies. According to the company, Realty Generator enables brokerage companies to dramatically increase both their revenue and their bottom line while providing them with a comprehensive Internet marketing system for cultivating their leads and managing their real estate business.

The company says that the acquisition is a natural extension for HouseValues which now will be able to provide both real estate companies and their agents with solutions for managing and growing their real estate businesses. Through the addition of Realty Generator, the company expects to expand its product suite, grow its customer base, and broaden its overall market opportunity.

According to the company, Realty Generator has experienced strong growth since its inception in 2003. The company provides a comprehensive lead generation and lead management system to real estate brokers as well as their agents and lender partners. Realty Generator’s proprietary, Web-based platform provides brokers with a turnkey way to generate new leads, manage the distribution of those leads to their agent teams, and monitor agent follow-through with future home buyers and sellers. Realty Generator principals Thomas Ray and Justin Tracy will join the HouseValues team and will be responsible for the continued growth of the business. HouseValues expects the Realty Generator acquisition to be accretive to Adjusted EBITDA in 2008.

“This system is just what our firm was looking for in a lead generation and customer management solution for our Company,” said Jennifer Coulson Honan of Keller Williams Mountain Properties. “Realty Generator has given us the competitive edge we were looking for in our market,” she added.

“We’re impressed by the strong growth that Realty Generator has achieved and even more impressed by the success their customers are seeing in today’s challenging real estate market,” said HouseValues CEO Ian Morris. “Realty Generator is delivering great results for real estate brokerage companies, their agents, and the buyers and sellers they serve.”
