RISMEDIA, March 3, 2008-NRT, one of the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage companies, announced the appointment of Daniel Barnett as senior vice president of marketing. Barnett will be responsible for enhancing and expanding national marketing initiatives in order to strengthen the company’s position in its 35 markets through existing vendor relationships, online marketing and advertising initiatives, as well as niche marketing programs.Barnett will report directly to Judy Reeves, NRT’s executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Prior to joining NRT, Barnett enjoyed a distinguished career at HSBC Finance where he spent the last five years developing robust online marketing programs for the company’s consumer mortgage division. During this time he oversaw strategic partnerships, lead sourcing and analytics, and online customer service. His accomplishments include growing the company’s eCommerce channel to $3 billion in sourced loans, all while optimizing the advertising budget for greater efficiency and value.
“Dan’s results-driven focus on increasing market share and improving return on investment combined with his in-depth knowledge of consumer marketing in the real estate sector will serve him well in this new role,” said Reeves. “I am confident that Dan’s experience and skill set will be instrumental in advancing our marketing efforts across the country.”
Barnett received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University, and his M.B.A. in marketing, strategy and information management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
