MRIS, March 10, 2008–Have you ever conducted a search in Matrix and found that you received unexpected results or no results at all? This frequently occurs when agents have made a mistake in the search criteria that they entered.Matrix displays the search criteria at the bottom of every results page. If the results are not what you expected, review your search criteria.
Here’s an example of what can trip you up:
Upon completing a map search, you’ll find the latitude and longitude located within the search criteria on the results page, along with all another other criteria selected. If you were to change your mind about conducting a map search and were to switch to a criteria search without first clearing the map search, the search results would be inaccurate, because you had forgotten to clear the map when you changed your mind.
After conducting searches and receiving inaccurate or unexpected results, always remember to review the criteria displayed at the bottom of the results page. It may hold the answers to all your search questions.
