RISMEDIA, March 31, 2008-The Residences at Dockside recently teamed up with the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors® to host a fun, one-of-a-kind fashion show event to find “Philly’s Hottest Realtor®,” welcome the spring real estate season, and help raise $12,000 for The Career Wardrobe.
On Thursday, March 20, 11 standout Realtors from the greater Philadelphia community took center stage to strut their stuff and compete for the crown in front of more than 200 colleagues, friends and family. Barbara Capozzi of Capozzi Real Estate was named Philly’s Hottest Realtor, followed by first runner-up, Monica Flores, of RE/MAX Affiliates; and second runner-up, Christian David, of Keller Williams Realty.
A prestigious panel of judges including, Sam Sherman, president of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia; Diane Lucidi, CEO of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors; and Martyna Sliwinska of Philadelphia STYLE magazine, helped choose the winners.
Audience members also had a chance to vote for their favorite realtor by donating $1 to The Career Wardrobe, a local non-profit that helps area women get back on track by providing free professional clothing and education opportunities. In all, $12,000 in donations was raised.
“We were overwhelmed by the amazing turnout from the Greater Philadelphia Realtor community and their tremendous support of The Career Wardrobe,” says Victoria Teschner, director of Sales and Marketing at The Residences at Dockside. “It’s fun to bring everyone together for a good time, but it’s even better when it’s for such a worthy cause.”
Sheri Cole, executive Director of The Career Wardrobe, adds, “The generosity of The Residences at Dockside and the Greater Philadelphia Realtor community has far exceeded our expectations, and we would like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude. We look forward to using these financial contributions to help further the success of our program and continue to help women throughout the Philadelphia region.”
