RISMEDIA, Sept. 30, 2008-Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) will unveil Propopoly, its proprietary new blog platform, at the network’s upcoming fall workshops, starting in Chicago this week, the company has announced.
Available only to LeadingRE member firms, Propopoly is a full-service blogging platform that allows sales associates to submit blog posts by voicemail, SMS (text message) or e-mail. Each blog post and public comment is run through a Propopoly editorial process before it is posted.
“Blogs have revolutionized the way real estate professionals market themselves and their clients’ properties,” Eric Bryn, vice president of strategic development said. “With Propopoly, we’re tapping into the power of this medium, giving our members an incredibly effective way to market themselves online and get high exposure on search engines with minimal effort. If they can leave a voicemail or send an email, they can blog.”
Sites for Halstead Property, Rubloff, Carpenter Realtors, Jack Conway & Co, Dickens-Mitchener & Associates, Cam-Taylor Realtors, and Huff Realty were beta-tested this summer, and the search engine results have been noteworthy, with the sites often appearing on page one of Google for hundreds of long tail searches.
“The current online marketplace makes being found over the clutter a serious challenge for a broker or agent starting a blog in their spare time. This product captures the most proven online strategies and technologies and shares them among participating brokers and agents,” Neil Elver, lead software developer on Propopoly, said.
According to the company, Propopoly has no login requirements or the need for sales associates to be tethered to a desktop or laptop computer if they want to blog.
“Propopoly positions our members’ sales associates as Web 2.0 marketing experts without them having to be technology experts,” Bryn said.
