RISMEDIA, February 24, 2009-Ellie Sullivan, director of Consulting Solutions for Weichert Relocation Resources Inc. (WRRI), announced the launch of WRRI’s annual Mobility and the Current Real Estate Market survey.
Now in its third year, this survey of relocation and HR professionals throughout North America examines the impact of current economic and real estate market conditions on corporate workforce mobility, and identifies the creative methods that companies are using to control relocation costs, avoid inventory and keep employees mobile. The cumulative results collected since the first Mobility and the Current Market survey in 2007 have enabled WRRI to track trends and analyze policy and program shifts among the more than 400 participants.
“The current real estate market continues to be a concern to employers throughout the U.S. and in Canada as well, where the market has shifted considerably in most provinces,” said Sullivan. “This survey is just one of the tools we’re using to help companies better understand today’s market dynamics and gain insight to the strategies that their peers are adopting to minimize the impact on their workforce mobility programs.”
Corporate relocation and HR professionals in the U.S. or Canada wishing to participate in this survey can request a link to the online questionnaire through WRRIresearch@wrri.com. The survey closes on March 16, 2009, and the results will be published at wrri.com in April.
